Romantic Rhapsody- An Improvised Musical Montage
Lindsay is the creator, director, producer, musical director and musician this show.
Romantic Rhapsody is an original improvised musical theatre show created and devised by Lindsay. It uses duo scenes to inspire songs made up in the moment by players around an audience suggestion. It is a genre based format where the players sing and move in the musical style of a famous artist. All the scenes revolve around relationships. There are 4 players and 4 duo scenes which each feature an improvised song. The show is a mid-form format musical vignette style production.
Romantic Rhapsody is currently in development for an online audience (2021).
Lindsay is also working on a workshop to teach this format which culminates in a performance (2021).
